Make it Nasty is by far one of the funniest stop motion animations I have ever seen. Check it out!Made by AMP’s very own Sarah Bushin – check out her AMP Profile here.
A very interesting conceptual Senior Thesis by Andrew Shim ’13
Tynesha Foreman just completed ANT M.D., a stop motion animation short.
She created this using Dragon Frame, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Audition. She used a ton of materials to create her puppets but its mainly constructed of wood, aluminum wire, nuts/bolts, silicone, velcro, sculpey. ( and according to Tynesha, there is also some blood, sweat, tears, and elbow grease in there).
Tynesha is also an AMP Mentor. Take a look at some of her other work on her AMP profile!
MICA Animation faculty members, Max Porter and Ru, are the directors and animators of “Something Left, Something Taken.”
This short was a Vimeo Staff Pick and also a Vimeo Award Finalist for Animation.
I was also completely blown away by their amazing documentation of “the making of” for this animation. Check it out at: http://tinyinventions.com/blog/?p=317
Ty Carter, Designer at Blue Sky Studios, posted a few tutorials regarding painting from a photo reference and understanding design, color and value. It really quick and to the point. Definitely got quite a few really great tips on there.
Thanks Paulene for finding this!
